New Mexico is the place to hunt if you want to hunt giant antelope. The current Boone and Crockett Club World's Record antelope was taken less than 50 miles from our lodge and 3 of the top 10 are from New Mexico. Trophy bucks can be found from the top of the state to the bottom, from the east side to the western border. This truly is the Golden Age of antelope hunting in New Mexico!
We offer trophy antelope hunts during the second and third weeks of August in units 15, 16, and 17. The tags are tough to draw, but if you get lucky, you'll have a great shot at a monster buck.
We also offer guaranteed private land hunts during the middle of August in northeastern New Mexico near the town of Clayton. You do not have to participate in the draw to get a tag for these hunts - they are available over the counter. These hunts are fun and aren't as stressful as hunting in some of the trophy units. We shoot bucks in the 13" - 15" range regularly. This a great hunt for the first-time antelope hunter, friends looking for an opportunity to hunt together, or anyone looking to have a great time hunting in an area with plenty of bucks. This is also a great hunt for a corporate retreat.
Licenses are obtained through the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish draw, by purchasing a private land license and tag, or by purchasing a Governor's Tag. The application period to draw a tag opens mid-January and closes mid-March. Be sure and apply with us through the Outfitter Draw for the best opportunity to draw a tag.
